Privacy Policy

Bestie ("we", "us") is an AI photo editor for iPhone and Android, and this website. This policy explains what information we handle when you use the app or the site, and the choices you have. By using Bestie you agree to this policy.

What we collect

• Photos you choose. When you take a selfie or pick a photo, it is sent to our servers and AI processing providers so we can create your result.
• Results. The restyled photo is returned to your device and saved to your phone. We do not post it anywhere.
• Purchases. Payments are handled by Apple App Store or Google Play. We receive confirmation of your purchase, subscription status and credit balance. We never see your card number.
• Device and usage data. App version, device model, operating system, language, crash logs and basic usage events that help us fix bugs and improve the app.
• Messages you send us. If you email support, we keep your message and email address to reply.

Bestie does not require an account. We do not ask for your name, email address or password to use the app.

How we use it

• To create the photos you ask for and deliver them to you.
• To manage credits, subscriptions and purchases.
• To keep the service secure and prevent abuse or fraud.
• To fix problems, measure performance and improve Bestie.
• To answer your support requests and meet legal obligations.

Your photos and AI

Your photos are processed by automated systems to create the look you picked. We do not use them to identify you, and we do not sell them.

Photo retention. We keep uploaded photos and generated results only as long as needed to create and deliver your result and to investigate technical problems, then delete them. We do not use your photos to train AI models.

Who we share it with

We share information only with service providers who help us run Bestie, under obligations to protect it:

• AI image processing and cloud hosting providers.
• Analytics and crash reporting tools.
• Apple and Google, for purchases and app distribution.

We may also disclose information if the law requires it, to protect rights and safety, or in a merger or sale of the business. We do not sell personal information.

International transfers

Our providers may process data in countries other than yours. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards for those transfers.

Retention

We keep data only as long as needed for the purposes above, then delete or anonymize it. Photos follow the retention described in "Your photos and AI".

Your rights

Depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR, the UK GDPR, Turkey's KVKK Law No. 6698, or the CCPA), you may have the right to access, correct or delete your data, object to or restrict processing, withdraw consent, and lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority. Children

Bestie is not intended for children under 13 (or the higher minimum age in your country). We do not knowingly collect information from them. If you believe a child has used the app, contact us and we will delete the data.

Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures, including encryption in transit, to protect your information. No system is perfectly secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Changes

We may update this policy. When we do, we change the date at the top. If a change is significant, we will tell you in the app or on this site.
